Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Rhode Island Appoints Marissa Tuccelli as Chief Strategy & Impact Officer

Cumberland/Woonsocket, RI — Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Rhode Island (BGCNRI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marissa Tuccelli as Chief Strategy & Impact Officer, a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring measurable impact across all programs and initiatives of the organization.

Marissa returns to BGCNRI, where she previously held several leadership roles, including Chief Development Officer. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the new Woonsocket Clubhouse, leading the ‘Building Great Futures’ capital campaign. As the first full-time development employee, she led all volunteer and philanthropic engagement initiatives, cultivated new community partnerships, mentored a high-performing fundraising team, and significantly increased philanthropic giving by 775% over four years. Among her achievements, Marissa secured a $2.1M arts endowment to enhance long-term program sustainability.

Following her impactful work with BGCNRI, Marissa earned her Master’s in Business Administration with distinction from Trinity College Dublin. During her program, she collaborated on an eight-month strategic consulting project with Oracle EMEA to enhance SME customer engagement. She also explored sustainability and business in South Africa during a residency at the University of Cape Town and developed a business plan to generate additional revenue streams for an Irish social enterprise.

Marissa’s international experience includes her role as Senior Director Consultant at CCS Fundraising, where she analyzed fundraising and operational income for an international humanitarian aid organization. Most recently, she served as Interim Director of Fundraising at Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

As BGCNRI’s Chief Strategy & Impact Officer, Marissa will lead major organizational initiatives, champion program innovation and equity, oversee impact measurement and evaluation, and build strategic partnerships to expand services and youth outcomes. Her leadership will align with the Club’s mission to strengthen communities, foster youth development, and position the organization for long-term growth and excellence.
