Feed the Children Resource Rally Sponsored by PriceRite to Serve 400 Families in Woonsocket

Woonsocket, RI – [June 27th, 9:30am] – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Rhode Island, in collaboration with Feed the Children and PriceRite, is proud to announce the Feed the Children Resource Rally, a drive-through distribution event aimed at supporting 400 families in the Woonsocket community.

Scheduled for the morning of June 27th at The Boys & Girls Club of Woonsocket (600 Social St, Woonsocket, RI 02895), this initiative underscores a collective effort to alleviate food insecurity and provide essential resources to local families.

Details of the Event:

  • Event Type: Resource Rally (Drive-through food & essentials distribution event)

  • Partners: PriceRite, Feed the Children
  • Distribution to Families: Each family will receive a 25-lb box of food, a 15-lb box of hygiene essentials, backpacks with supplies, and additional products.

The Boys & Girls Club of Woonsocket, under the leadership of Gary Rebelo, President & CEO, is instrumental in coordinating logistics and ensuring the event’s success. “Our mission is to empower young people and support families in our community,” said Rebelo. “Events like the Feed the Children Resource Rally align perfectly with our goals, and we are grateful for the support of PriceRite and Feed the Children.”
